Savolio is operated by Wermom Technologies Inc. (Toronto, Canada). These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Wermom Technologies Inc. ("we", "us"). They apply when you download or use the Savolio iPhone app. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict on the license to use the app, the Standard EULA governs.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Savolio lets you save links from other apps, and add notes, tags and collections to them. In version 1.0 there is no account. Your library is stored on your iPhone, and you are responsible for keeping backups of your device if you want to keep your library safe.
We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in the app.
Some features require Savolio Pro, an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's App Store with monthly and yearly options. The price, billing period and what is included are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase, in your local currency.
New subscribers may be eligible for a 3-day free trial. Apple decides eligibility, and each Apple ID can receive the introductory offer once per subscription group. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and you are charged the price shown when you started the trial. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends.
Cancel or change your subscription in your Apple ID settings: on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. When you cancel, you keep Savolio Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If you reinstall Savolio or use a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID, open the Savolio Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases.
Apple handles all billing and refunds under its own policies. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
You own the notes, tags and collections you create. Links you save point to content owned by others, and that content remains theirs; Savolio stores only the link and the preview your iPhone fetched for it. You are responsible for what you save and for respecting the rights of the people who made it.
Do not use Savolio to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to interfere with the app, its website or the services it relies on. Do not try to reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it, and do not misuse the support form, for example by sending spam or automated submissions.
Saved links open websites and apps run by other companies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the app will be error-free or that data stored on your device cannot be lost.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for Savolio Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
You can stop using Savolio at any time by deleting the app. Remember to cancel any subscription separately. We may stop offering the app. If we do, we will tell you in advance where possible.
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app about material changes. If you keep using Savolio after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute about these Terms or the app. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.
